How long can I get a visa after China's application to Finland is submitted?
Visa application requires materials.
1. For short-term (Class C) visas, please refer to "Schengen Visa".
2. Applications for long-term (D) visas and long-term residence permits must be submitted to the Finnish Embassy in China in person. The decision to apply for a long-term residence permit is made by the Finnish Immigration Bureau, and the Finnish Embassy in China cannot provide consulting services to the applicant. After the long-term residence permit card arrives at the Finnish Embassy in China, the Embassy will inform the applicant. Foreign residents who need to live in Finland for three months or more should hold residence permits. Notarized and double-certified marriage certificate, two originals and copies.
F two copies of spouse's passport and residence permit in Finland, and two copies of other relevant supporting materials, if any.
5) If the spouse of the applicant is a Finnish citizen, the following materials need to be prepared:
A. An application form (OLE_PH2) filled out and signed by the applicant in duplicate.
B. Two other photos (OLEL_PK) of the residence permit application form and two standard passport photos of the last six months are attached to the form.
C two forms (PK2_PLUS) completed by Finnish spouse.
D two copies of the applicant's valid passport, the first page, signature page and visa page of the passport.
Notarized and double-certified marriage certificate, two originals and copies.
F if the applicant and Finnish spouse get married and register in Finland, two copies of marriage certificate should be submitted.
6) If one parent is in Finland, the child and the other live in China, but only the child applies for a long-term residence permit, the following materials need to be prepared:
A. Two application forms (OLE_PH4) filled out and signed by parents on behalf of children.
B. The residence permit application form is attached with 2 pages of photos (OLEL_PK) and 2 application forms with photos of standard passports in the last 6 months.
C two forms (PK4_PLUS) filled out by parents in Finland.
D two forms filled out by domestic parents (PH4_PLUS).
E two copies of the child's valid passport and the first page of the passport. If there are other visas in your passport, you need two copies.
F Two copies of parents' passports and residence permits in Finland and two copies of other relevant certification materials are required.
G the original and two copies of the notarized birth certificate of the child certified by the certification department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
H in China, parents agree that their children need notarization, the original and two copies.
7) If one parent is in Finland, the child and the other parent live in China and will apply for a long-term residence permit at the same time, you need to prepare the following materials:
A two copies of (OLE_PH4) applied by parents, which shall be filled in and signed by children.
B. Two other photos (OLEL_PK) of the residence permit application form and two passport photos in the last six months are attached to the form.
C two copies of the child's valid passport, the first page and signature page of the passport, and the visa page.
D the original and two copies of the notarized birth certificate of the child certified by the certification department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
(2) Study visa
1) Foreign students admitted to Finnish educational institutions who have studied in Finland for more than 3 months need to apply for a long-term residence permit.
2) If the applicant needs to take the entrance examination to be admitted to Finnish educational institutions, he must first apply for a Schengen visa.
3) To apply for a long-term residence permit for the first time, the applicant should submit it in embassies and consulates in China, Finland (non-China citizens with valid residence permits in China can submit their applications in China).
4) The extension of the long-term residence permit shall be applied to the local police station in Finland.
(3) For students studying or exchanging in Finland, applicants need to submit the following materials:
1) Fill in two complete and signed application forms (OLE_OPI).
2) Two pages (OLEL_PK) are attached to the residence permit application form, and two passport photos in the last six months are attached to the form, which cannot be nailed to the application form with staples.
3) A valid passport with signature, 2 copies of the first page of the passport, and 2 copies of the visa page if there are visas from other countries in the passport.
4) Two copies of overseas medical insurance during studying in Finland are required.
5) The applicant must choose an internationally recognized or international insurance company to insure, and the insurance company must sign and seal the policy, and provide the inquiry telephone number and website.
6) The original and two copies of the admission notice of Finnish educational institutions.
7) The original and two copies of the bank deposit certificate of about 6,000 euros or 60,000 yuan (according to the foreign exchange rate) issued in the name of the applicant are required. Applicants must renew their certificates once a year during their stay in Finland.
8) Provide IELTS (IELTS/5.0) and TOEFL (TOEFL2 13/550) English proficiency test transcripts (doctoral students are exempt from the test) and two copies.
9) The original and two copies of the applicant's birth certificate.
10) Notarization of the highest education or qualification certificate certified by the certification department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, with two originals and photocopies.
1 1) If the applicant is an exchange student, in addition to preparing the highest recognized academic certificate, he should also submit the certificate of studying issued by his school and certified by the notary office and the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with two originals and two copies respectively. Exchange students should provide two copies of the exchange agreement signed by the responsible persons of both parties.
12) If the applicant has worked in China or has had work experience, he/she shall provide a work certificate or work experience certificate, which shall be notarized and certified, with two originals and two copies.
13) If the applicant is a minor, the consent form signed by parents and notarized shall be attached, with the original and two copies.
(4) If the applicant is a scholar who wants to do research in Finland, please submit the following materials:

7) Applicants who have worked or have worked in China shall provide notarized work certificate or work experience certificate, with two originals and copies.
(5) Work visa

5) The employer shall submit two copies of the materials to the Finnish employment agency (TEM054).
6) The highest academic certificate notarized by the certification department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with two originals and photocopies.
7) If the applicant will be engaged in technical work in Finland, such as cook, welder, nurse, etc. The professional qualification certificate notarized by the certification department of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the original and two copies are required.

Description of visa application
1. Visa forms, other information consultation and visa reservation are free.

5. The Schengen visa in Finland is divided into business visa, visiting relatives and friends visa, ADS tour visa and long-term residence permit according to the purpose of the visit.
