Differences between Tanghe Caiyu and Hetian Jade

Tanghe Cai Yu and Hetian jade are produced in different places. Tanghe Cai Yu is mainly produced in Tangxian, Shunping and Quyang counties of Baoding City, Hebei Province, and Hetian jade is produced in Hetian, Xinjiang. In addition, the tremolite content of Tanghe Cai Yu is between 20% and 90%, and the tremolite content of Hetian jade is above 90%.

The difference between Cai Yu and Hetian jade in Tanghe River is different from that in Cai Yu and Hetian jade in Tanghe River. Cai Yu of Tanghe River is mainly produced in Tangxian, Shunping and Quyang counties of Baoding City, Hebei Province, while Hetian jade in the traditional sense is mainly produced in Hetian area of Xinjiang, China.

In addition, there are some differences between Tanghe Cai Yu and Hetian Jade. The main mineral composition of Cai Yu and Hetian jade in Tanghe River is tremolite, but the tremolite content in Cai Yu of Tanghe River is mostly between 20% and 90%, while that in Hetian jade is generally above 90%.

There are also differences in density between Tanghe colorful jade and Hetian jade. The relative density of Tanghe colored jade is 2.88 ~ 2.98, while that of Hetian jade is 2.95 ~ 3. 17, so Hetian jade with the same volume will feel heavier than Tanghe colored jade.
