Whether at the beginning of the reform and opening up, or now, the main goal of China women marrying foreigners is to get a green card. However, foreign men married by domestic women are mostly older, have been married twice, and occasionally of the same age, which should not belong to the so-called appropriate standards that people in China think at present.
