What is a (table for two)?

"Errentai" is a local opera that originated from Hequ and spread in the northwest of the mountain, western Inner Mongolia, northwestern Shaanxi and Zhangjiakou, Hebei. It belongs to the "second small" drama in the performance program. The role is only Xiao Dan the clown or Xiaosheng and Xiao Dan. His performance is lively, his singing is free and unrestrained, and he is euphemistic and fluent, which is deeply loved by the masses. Errentai was originally developed on the basis of folk songs. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, on holidays, some bustling people get together and set up stalls to sing in houses, yards, village heads and squares, all of which are minor tunes of Hequ folk songs. This kind of entertainment is often called "meditation room". In the early years of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, this kind of "meditation tune" absorbed artistic nutrition such as yangko, stilts, dry boat and Taoist sentiment in sister art, and developed into a performance with some dance movements, which was entered and exited by two roles of Chou Dan. People who watch the holidays gather around the fire dragon (Wanghuo), and actors and bands perform in the venue. Locals call it "Zhuan Long". During the Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1862- 1864), because the working people of Hequ were forced to "move westward" because of their lives, this art form was taken out of their mouths, which absorbed and melted the musical language of Inner Mongolia folk songs and the makeup of traditional operas, making it have a new development and become a local opera with the embryonic form of operas.

The traditional repertoire of Errentai is about 120, which is based on the real life of working people and full of rich life interest. It can be divided into "hard code drama" and "whipping drama". "Hard-coded drama" emphasizes singing, reading and doing, and highlights performing roles, such as "going west" and "visiting the sick". Playing with a whip is a combination of singing and dancing, such as "hanging a red light" and "playing with money". Its contents are mostly farm life and love life.

The music of duet is divided into two parts: cavity and card. Most of the vocals are mainly folk songs, and some of them have gone through various speed-changing treatments and moved towards the board. The part of brand music is basically instrumental music based on folk songs. In addition, it also absorbs and draws lessons from ancient music and folk music, making it richer and richer.
