How to apply for a Singapore visa in Changchun

If you have a Changchun passport and apply for a Singapore visa, please bring your passport, ID card, household registration book, photos and related materials to the Singapore Embassy in China at Xiushui North Street 1 outside Jianguomen, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The relevant requirements are as follows:

I. Notes on Visa Application

1.

China citizens who hold diplomatic passports, official passports and ordinary official passports and stay in Singapore for no more than 30 days are exempt from visas.

2.

China citizens who travel to Singapore with ordinary passports must apply for an entry visa in advance. Applications can be submitted through embassies and consulates in China or through travel agencies and agencies authorized by the embassy.

3. Singapore does not apply for visas on arrival.

4.

Incomplete forms, non-standard materials or non-compliance with requirements may lead to visa refusal or delay in acceptance.

5.

Whether the visa application is approved and the validity period of the approval shall be decided by the visa officer according to the applicant's personal situation.

The date of issuance of a visa is generally the date when the visa application is submitted. Once the visa is issued, its validity period will not change, and the applicant should not submit the application materials too early. If the visa has expired, the applicant must resubmit the application materials. Applicants should carefully check the date of issuance and validity of the visa when receiving it. Applicants are advised to submit their applications one to two weeks before going abroad.

Officials of Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority decide the number of days for visa holders to stay when they enter the country. Applicants should pay attention to the entry stamp of the passport and the approved stay period.

Two. Information needed to apply for a visa

1. Basic materials

Passport: original passport and photocopy of passport photo page. Passports should be valid for more than six months (from the date of entry) and have at least one blank visa page;

Visa application form (original): an application form filled in English and signed by the applicant. The application form can be downloaded online;

3)

Two passport photos (one posted on the form and the other scanned) shall meet the following requirements:

Original and photocopy of ID card (note: business visa applicants only need a photocopy).

2. Other materials required for applying for a tourist visa are as follows

1) Employment Certificate:

If the applicant is an on-the-job employee, the original employment certificate issued by the company must be provided. The certification letter should indicate that the company agrees to leave the company, and specify the working hours, position and salary of the applicant in detail. On-the-job certification letter must list the company's address, telephone and fax numbers and relevant contacts. Letters must be stamped with official seals.

If the applicant is unemployed, he/she needs to provide documents to prove his/her personal financial situation, such as bank deposit certificate, real estate license, etc. (original and photocopy). There is no specific requirement for the amount of bank deposit certificate, but the date of bank issuance must be within 2 weeks from the date of visa application submission. The certificate shall truthfully reflect the economic ability of the applicant.

2) Household registration book: the household registration book of the applicant.
