In which dynasty did Jinduicheng in Shaanxi rise?

Jindui Town, called Jindou in ancient times, was named after the construction of Tongguan City (Tongguan was originally named Jindou City and Jindou Tongguan) in the Tang Dynasty because of "competing for gold" from the government. Later, it was changed to a gold pile. Because it is surrounded by green hills on all sides, it is also called "Jindui City".

Jindui Town is located at the southeast end of Huazhou District in Weinan, at the junction of four counties and cities deep in Qinling Mountains, bordering huayin city in the northeast, Lantian in the west and Luonan in the south. Average elevation 1300m, covering an area of 224 square kilometers. Wenyu River, Lixi River, Liyu River and Haoping River flow into Nanluo River from north to south. Liuchuan Road divides the gold pile into ditches and forks. The area is criss-crossed with ravines and mountains. It is the only pure mountain city in Hua County, 70 kilometers away from the urban area.

The town people's government is stationed in Siping. Due to the construction and development of Jinduicheng Molybdenum Company, a new mining town has been formed in this once isolated and remote mountain valley. The town's non-agricultural population is more than 9,000 people, including the town government, Molybdenum Company and its affiliated factories and mines, as well as industrial and commercial bank offices, agricultural bank offices, credit cooperatives, tax offices, industrial and commercial management offices, courts, public security police stations, post and telecommunications sub-offices and other institutions. There are more than 100 stalls in state-owned, collective and individual commercial catering services. Schools, hospitals, clubs and other cultural, educational and health facilities are also complete. Its town size ranks first among all towns and villages in the region.
