Immigrant urban culture is a kind of generative culture with strong openness. Immigrants flock to a new city from all directions, or gather in a new place to form a city. For them, it means starting from scratch. Therefore, the construction of material civilization and spiritual civilization is like drawing on a blank sheet of paper. Although it is not bound by the old rules and regulations, it has no foundation. Culturally, immigrants uphold a spirit and go to new cities to experience polishing, accompanied by elimination, transformation, renewal and development, thus cultivating a new culture. Therefore, the culture of immigrant cities is not an established culture, but a generative culture.

This kind of culture is not closed in its formation process, but consistent with the openness of immigrant cities. In the process of urban development, new immigrants continue to join, constantly adding new elements and nutrients to their cultural development. Therefore, the culture of immigrant cities is full of vigor and vitality because of its openness.
