Materials required:

1) Your ID card and household registration book (original and photocopy)

2) Your husband's Hong Kong identity card, home visit permit and Hong Kong birth certificate (if you immigrate to Hong Kong after being born in the Mainland, you need to show your one-way permit to Hong Kong that year). Please note that you can't get a one-way permit until 4-5 years after you register for marriage. After getting a one-way permit, you can go to Hong Kong and live in Hong Kong for seven years before you can apply for a Hong Kong permanent identity card! You can't get a permanent identity card as soon as you arrive in Hong Kong.
