Patriotism has nothing to do with nationality.

This in itself is a counter-proposition. The definition of patriotism is love and protection, but the essence of patriotism is to love yourself. The state is established by the people to ensure that the people enjoy freedom and protection rights. The premise of patriotism is that you are the people of this country first. But patriotism can be divided into love, which means that although you are not from this country, you like this country and do something for it, similar to international peacekeeping forces. But this kind of "patriotism" cannot be classified as what we usually know as patriotism.
