Guiping is located in the essence of Xunyu Plain in southeast Guangxi, with the Tropic of Cancer running through the middle and Qianjiang, yujiang county and Jiang Xun meeting in the urban area. Rich in water resources, there are 48 rivers such as Qianjiang, Yujiang and Jiang Xun, with a basin area of 4,056 square kilometers. Hydropower reserves are very large. At present, the installed capacity of the Datengxia Water Control Project under construction is 6.5438+0.6 million kilowatts, and the average annual power generation after completion is 6.055 billion kWh, which effectively relieves the contradiction of peak shaving in Guangxi power grid and provides a steady stream of clean energy for local economic and social development.
