Agricultural Machinery Center of Anhua County, Hunan Province Helps the Development of Tea Industry

Anhua County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province is located in the middle reaches of Zijiang River, north of central Hunan, and north of Xuefeng Mountain, with a mountainous area of 82%. It is a typical mountain county, reservoir county and famous tea-producing county in China. In 20 19, Anhua county ranked as the largest tea-producing county in China, with a total tea garden area of 350,000 mu and a tea output value of more than 20 billion yuan.

However, most tea gardens in Anhua are small tea gardens in mountainous areas, so it is difficult to realize large-scale agricultural mechanization. At present, the employment gap in tea production and service industry is prominent, which does not match the growing development of Anhua tea industry, which greatly restricts tea production and is not conducive to the upgrading and development of tea industry.

Anhua County Agricultural Machinery Affairs Center earnestly implements the work arrangements of the county party committee and the county government, devotes itself to rural revitalization, strives to develop modern agriculture, does everything possible to introduce and promote agricultural machinery suitable for mountainous and hilly areas of the county, and vigorously promotes the mechanization of tea, grain, oil, fruit, medicine and other characteristic industries, thus boosting the battle against poverty and realizing the leap-forward development of Anhua's agricultural machinery industry.

Especially in the mechanization of tea industry, it has made a major breakthrough and achieved remarkable results.

For example, Anhua County Agricultural Machinery Affairs Center cooperated with Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, inspected and docked agricultural machinery enterprises in Wuxi, Jining, Shandong Yulin, Guangxi and other places, and introduced newly developed integrated tillage machines, ditchers, intertillage mowers, trimmers, tea pickers, biological pest control machines, small excavators and monorail conveyors suitable for tea gardens in Anhua County, and successively demonstrated them in Shang Yun Tea Garden in Ma Lu Town and Baihuazhai Tea Garden in Xiaoyan Town.

Relying on these newly introduced agricultural machinery, anhua tea Quan Agricultural Machinery Service Co., Ltd. and Changmaolong Tea Machinery Service Co., Ltd. were first established. Anhua county agricultural machinery affairs center is anxious for farmers, thinking of enterprises, and organizing relevant training many times, which has achieved good social and economic benefits.

For example, in Qujiang Town, Anhua County, a training course on the mechanization of tea plantation operation and the use and maintenance of tea production and processing machinery for immigrants in the reservoir area was organized, with more than 20 students 10 days. The training content is varied and practical, involving the operation and maintenance of tea production and processing machinery, tea processing technology, tea pest control, on-site demonstration of tea mechanization, tea training, tea marketing, tea factory practice and so on.

Let students master the whole mechanization technology of tea garden reclamation, intertillage, weeding, pruning, sprinkler irrigation, plant protection, picking, transportation and tea processing.

Through training, the purpose is to develop the tea industry in this county, improve the efficiency of machinery use, increase the benefits of farmers' planting and management of tea gardens, drive farmers to transfer their labor force, increase their economic income, further lay a solid foundation for promoting the mechanization of tea production in the county, and will also play a leading and exemplary role in building a 100 billion Hunan tea industry.

In 2020, Anhua County Agricultural Machinery Affairs Center successfully applied to Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs for the implementation of the demonstration project of mechanization of dominant agricultural characteristic industries (tea) in Hunan Province, with Hunan Slope Tea Co., Ltd. as the main body of implementation, striving for 400,000 yuan of provincial project funds, and Hunan Slope Tea Co., Ltd., the project implementation unit, raised 250,000 yuan by itself to build a demonstration base for the whole process of tea production with an area of over 65,438+.

Support Ma Lu, Xianxi and other eight towns to build 28 demonstration bases for mechanized production of large-scale tea gardens, enhance the socialized service function of tea agricultural machinery cooperative organizations such as Chaquan and Changmaolong, and greatly reduce the cost of tea planting and management.
