The EOI submitted by applicants needs to indicate the type of visa they want to apply for. Applicants can submit multiple copies of EOI according to their abilities and hobbies.

2. What is the processing procedure for technology selection?

The first step is for the applicant to fill in the online EOI form for technical visa application. They need to indicate the type of immigrants they are interested in. All the details will be stored in a database and managed by the Immigration Bureau. State and local governments and approved employers can only access the data of applicants who are interested in sponsoring immigrants.

(1) The applicant fills in EOI;; ;

(2) For independent/family-sponsored immigrants, the main basis for passing the selection is the scoring test. The employer will search the database and contact the applicant directly, and the state territorial government will personally search the database and select the applicant;

(3) For eligible applicants selected by independent/family sponsored immigrants and state and regional governments, the system will also automatically send invitations. Then the invitee or applicant submits the visa application according to the normal procedure.

EOIs selected in the second step will be invited to submit a visa application. Applicants will be selected by the Immigration Bureau to apply for an independent or family skilled immigrant visa, or by state government agencies to apply for a state or local sponsored visa. At the same time, employers may contact them to provide them with permanent employer-sponsored immigrants or 457 visas.

EOI's database will provide the main information of immigrants, help employers to simply identify and compare, and contact outstanding skilled workers with potential.

If the state government has a job vacancy approved by the Immigration Bureau, they will also search the database for the right person. Employers can use the current application procedures to sponsor immigrants, including applicants selected from the selection plan.

All immigrant applicants are advised to submit EOI, get an invitation letter and apply for a visa. How do 15 and EOI rank?

The evaluation standard of EOI is consistent with that of skilled immigrants. The ability assessment of the applicant mainly depends on age, qualification level, English level and work experience. In this respect, it can not only enable candidates to meet the minimum standards, but also screen out the most effective talents in various industries.

To ensure the uniqueness of EOI ranking. EOI with the same score will be separated in chronological order. Ranking is an objective and automatic process, managed by the technology selection system, without the participation of immigration staff. The ranking is mainly based on the information you provide in EOI.

16, how do I know my ranking?

All applicants who submit EOI want to know their ranking, but they can't see their position. The Immigration Department will announce the minimum required score for each occupation after each invitation cycle. So you can know the criteria for sending invitations.

Technology selection needs to ensure a principle, and the jobs provided by ordinary skilled immigrants are urgently needed. The position ceiling is set according to this principle. The position ceiling is used to limit the number of general skilled immigrants selected from special occupational groups. The purpose is to prevent ordinary skilled immigrants from being controlled by a few occupations. Once the quota of a certain occupational group is full, this year, the invitation to immigrate to this occupational group will not be issued. Then, these positions will be assigned to other occupational groups, even if the applicants in that group score low.

18. Who will decide whether to invite EOI?

For independent and family-guaranteed skilled immigrants: All the selection decisions are electronic, mainly depending on the ranking and the completion of professional quotas. The selection process is objective and automatic, and immigration staff will not participate in the selection process.

Category of state government and employer's guarantee: the state government can provide guarantees for applicants at any time through the state government's immigration plan, and the nominated applicants will receive application requirements at the same time in the selection cycle of general skilled immigrants. The employer can access the database and contact the applicant to provide a guarantee.

19. Who decides who to invite to apply for a visa?

For independent and family-sponsored skilled immigrants, according to the ranking and selection rules, all selection decisions are automatic. State government representatives decide whether to nominate applicants, and can access the database at any time to make a decision. The selected applicant will receive an invitation soon. The employer can directly contact the applicant to provide state guarantee.

20. How often do you choose?

After the primary election in June 20 13, invitations for visa categories evaluated by evaluation scores will be sent regularly according to the appointment date.

Technology selection will be part of the state government's immigration plan to choose temporary or permanent immigrants. Nominations can be announced at any time, but the announcement of invitations should be consistent with the announcement cycle of appointments.

Employers can look for skilled workers who meet their requirements by querying the database. Then, employers can provide guarantees for skilled workers through the current processing procedures and apply for temporary or permanent employer-sponsored visas. According to the current arrangement, the guarantee can be made at any time.

2 1. If I am invited, how long will it take to send the application?

If you are invited to apply for independent, family or state skilled migration, you need to send your application within 2 months after the invitation date.

22. What if I am not invited?

Your EOI will be kept in the database for two years from the date of submission. In the meantime, you can participate in the subsequent technology selection. If your situation changes, you need to update your EOI. In addition, if you are interested in the visa sponsored by your employer, your employer may contact you directly to discuss the guarantee.

If you prefer the state government guarantee, the state government may contact you to discuss the guarantee. If more than one state guarantees you, the application of the first state government that nominated you will be sent to you.

23. If I am not invited to nominate, do I have the right to appeal?

Because EOI does not represent a visa invitation, you are not eligible to appeal through the Immigration Review Tribunal. The review process is only open to those whose visa applications are rejected or cancelled.
