I was born in China and my father is Singaporean. How do I choose my nationality?

According to article 122( 1) of the Singapore Constitution, Singapore citizenship is acquired at birth.

If your father was born in Singapore, your father can register your Singapore nationality after you are born.

If your father was born outside Singapore and obtained Singapore citizenship from his parents at birth, and he stayed in Singapore for five years before you were born, or stayed in Singapore for two years in the five years before you were born, your father can register your Singapore citizenship after you were born.

If your father became a Singaporean citizen, you can't register Singapore citizenship, because you were born with China citizenship.
