North Korea immigrated to Jilin

There are only two situations: First, I was originally from China, changed my nationality after studying abroad, and then went back and forth to settle in Jilin. First, I was originally a Korean and came to China to study or work.

I think the second possibility is more likely, because the North Korean government has many official shops in China, earning foreign exchange from China. There are many in Dandong. I have never been to Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, but I feel that Dandong has it and Yanbian should have it.
