I. Requirements for applying for a master's degree in Singapore
As we all know, there are two main types of universities in Singapore, namely: public universities and private universities; The application conditions are different, and the requirements of public universities are higher than those of private universities.
1, public university
Master's degree in public universities in Singapore has always been the dream of many international students. Application requirements:
◎ The application conditions for graduate students in public universities in Singapore require a bachelor's degree from a domestic university;
◎ Provide school grades with an average score of more than 85 points;

2. Private universities
Generally speaking, most private universities in Singapore are transitional platforms for language and diploma courses, and most of them have established cooperative relations with overseas universities. Master's degrees in private schools in Singapore are mostly awarded by well-known universities in third countries. When choosing these schools, we should pay attention to the status and reputation of cooperative universities and avoid false and asymmetric information. It also depends on whether an institution has the education trust Edutrust certification, so that schools with this certification have the legal right to recruit international students and the interests of international students can be fully guaranteed.
Application requirements:
◎ The application conditions of graduate students in private universities in Singapore require an average score of 70 or more;
◎ Hold relevant undergraduate diploma and degree certificate;
◎ Language scores require IELTS 6-6.5 or above;
◎ The condition for a private university to graduate to a master's degree is a three-year junior college graduate with IELTS 6.5 or above. Language assessment plus language preparation requires corresponding assessment. Some majors need to provide 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Second, the materials required for the master's application in Singapore
Guarantor: the student pass applicant can choose to guarantee himself or Singapore citizen/Singapore permanent resident; If the guarantor is a Singapore citizen or a permanent resident of Singapore, a copy of the guarantor's ID card must be submitted when applying.
Courses: Applications for new student permits are limited to language, business, arts and crafts courses offered by private schools. Students must first apply for admission to private schools in Singapore, and then submit the application materials to the Student Permission Office of the Singapore Embassy in China. Every application for a new course or school must be reapplied. Materials and documents to be submitted: Please arrange the application materials in the following order. If any of the following materials and documents are missing or the form is incomplete (items C-E and G below), the visa will be refused.

Copy of notarial certificate of birth certificate, notarial certificate of highest education, notarial certificate of transcripts and notarial certificate of bank deposit of Singapore master's applicant. If the applicant's parents/stepfather/spouse are Singapore citizens or permanent residents, the applicant must also submit a copy of the marriage certificate of his parents/stepfather and himself, and the notarial certificate must be accompanied by an English translation. The above notarial certificate must be notarized by the notary office where the applicant is located, and certified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the foreign affairs agency authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. The bank deposit certificate can be the bank deposit of the applicant himself or his parents. The minimum deposit is150,000 RMB.
Interview: The interview time is generally 2 months after the materials are submitted. At that time, the Singapore Embassy will inform the school of the interview time in writing. During the interview, the applicant should bring the originals and photocopies of the following documents: all notarial certificates, ID cards, graduation certificates, transcripts, bank passbooks and deposit certificates. If you don't have an ID card, please bring your household registration book, about 60-90 days after the interview; The school will receive a written notice from the Singapore Immigration and Registration Bureau to inform the application result. Applicants can check the application results directly from the school instead of from the Singapore Embassy.
Third, Singapore Master's Study Abroad Program
1, April to June
Improve or maintain a relatively high gpa.
After the start of school, the focus should still be on learning, and the GPA should be kept above 3.5 as far as possible, especially in core courses.
