How to apply for residence permit in Guangzhou

The ways for foreigners to apply for residence permit in Guangzhou are as follows:

(1) Original identity card or other valid identification;

(2) One of the following residential address certificates: house ownership certificate, house purchase contract issued without property right certificate, house lease registration certificate, house lease contract, accommodation certificate issued by the unit, and original accommodation certificate issued by the school;

(3) Apply for residence permit six months after applying for residence registration.
