Procedures for going abroad:

1. The applicant holds the resident ID card or residence booklet to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau to receive the Examination and Approval Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes in duplicate, and fill it out truthfully. The unit or police station will issue an opinion and affix its official seal as required. The applicant applies to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau;

3. Submit a copy of the residence booklet resident ID card (original inspection);

4. Individuals traveling abroad must submit proof of travel expenses, such as time deposit certificates with a deposit period of more than 3 months (not less than 4,000 US dollars or equivalent international currency or 50,000 yuan); If the deposit period is less than 3 months, the deposit certificate issued by the bank shall be submitted at the same time. The public security organ shall keep one copy, and the deposit slip and deposit certificate must be submitted by the five major banks in the city (China Bank) and issued by Industrial and Commercial Bank, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank and Bank of Communications;

5. The validity period of the visa is generally 1 month or 3 months; The longest is generally more than half a year, such as employment and study visa; The shortest is 3 days or 7 days, such as a transit visa.
