Brief introduction of Harqin family palace

Harqin Palace is the residence of Prince Gong in Qing Dynasty, and the former residence of Gonsannobu, an outstanding Mongolian thinker, politician and reformer. Now it has become the Palace Museum in Harqin Banner. Founded in the 18th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1679), it is located in Wangyefu Town, Harqin Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, with150km northeast of Chengde and 70km southwest of Chifeng. The twelve generations of Mongolian princes of Harqin successively crusaded against the government here. It is an ancient architectural complex with the earliest construction age, the largest building scale, the highest specification level, the best preservation and the highest reputation among the existing Wang Fu buildings in Inner Mongolia, and a national key cultural relics protection unit. The original residence covers an area of more than 300 mu, with more than 490 houses and a two-story courtyard. The main building is divided into lobby, hall, instrument door, hall and Chengqing building. Courtyard elegant, pavilions, set each other off into interest. It is an indispensable witness to study the ancient history of China and Mongolian culture.
