China mainland citizens must obtain a visa before going to Kiribati, regardless of their passports.

You can apply for a visa in the following departments:

Principal Immigration Officer, Foreign Affairs and Immigration Department (P O Box 68 Bairiki Talawa) and Kiribati's honorary consulates abroad (Suva, Fiji, Rose Bay, Australia, Hamburg, Germany, Tokyo, Korea, Auckland, New Zealand, Westminster Abbey, UK and Honolulu, Hawaii, USA).

Hong Kong or Macao SAR passport holders can enter Kiribati visa-free and stay for no more than 3 days.
