9 months: Looking for a school

8 months: Prepare application materials and start application

Required materials can be found on the school’s website, generally including:

1. Graduation certificate and Notarization/notarization of proof of enrollment (not graduated)

2. Notarization of transcripts (find a school to issue transcripts)/certificate of college entrance examination scores (graduated from high school)

3. Notarization of degree certificate ( Applying for a master's degree)

4. English resume

5. Recommendation letter from professor (applying for a master's degree)

6. Fill in the school application form (can be downloaded from the school website)

7. Copy of IELTS score report

8. Copy of passport

9. Two recent color 2-inch photos with white background in passport format.

Notarized certificates in both Chinese and English versions must be issued. It is best to write your resume by yourself. 7 months: language preparation

6 months: After all the materials are collected, send them to the school by courier (EMS is fine)

After the materials are sent to the school, you will receive an email notifying you of the materials. Received, please wait patiently for the review results. 4 months: Apply for NESO certificate and prepare for visa

Since the Dutch visa is a Schengen counter-visa, the official procedure is to apply for an MVV visa, and the visa rate is very high. Application materials include:

1. Birth notarization and its double certification.

You need to take your birth notarization, household register and required materials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy for authentication, which may take about 2 weeks.

2. Notarization of single marriage and notarization of no criminal offense.

3.NESO certification. In order to apply for a study abroad MVV visa, your host institution in the Netherlands will need to submit a Neso Certificate to the Dutch visa authorities. Neso Certificate is a document issued by NesoBeijing that certifies the validity of your English proficiency and academic degree certificate when you apply to study in a Dutch higher education institution. Required materials include: Neso Certificate registration application form, copy of IELTS transcript, Chinese and English transcripts and their notarization, notarization of Chinese and English academic qualifications or proof of study.

4. Mortgage or proof of funds. After the school issues the admission notice, it will send an official deposit bill. Generally, you will be required to send the required fees to a designated account at a designated bank in the school city. The deposit includes tuition, living expenses, visa fees, insurance premiums, housing mortgage deposits, and the cost of applying for a local resident permit. Because the fees are quite high, to be cautious, it is best to contact the school to confirm and verify what is on the bill. After confirming, you can go to the bank to transfer money. The bank will give you a receipt. Keep it, make a copy, and send it to the school together with a copy of your passport, so that the school can apply for a visa from the Immigration Bureau.

5. Copy of passport.

Unlike most countries, studying in the Netherlands adopts the "anti-visa" procedure. After the applicant is admitted to a Dutch university, the school submits a visa application to the Dutch Immigration Bureau on its behalf, and the applicant can basically obtain a visa.
