How to apply for a tourist visa in Singapore

A Singapore visa is the endorsement and seal of passports or other travel documents held by China or foreign citizens by the sovereign authorities to show that they are allowed to enter or leave their own country or go through border formalities. It can also be said that it is an endorsement certificate issued to them. Generally speaking, a Singapore visa is a document issued by Singapore's entry-exit administration agencies (such as the Immigration Bureau or the Ministry of Manpower and embassies abroad) to show approval to foreign citizens. There are two ways to apply for a tourist visa in Singapore:

The first type: relatives living in Singapore apply for entry directly to the Singapore Immigration Bureau.

After obtaining a passport, the applicant must send a copy of the passport (the original is kept by himself) and two photos of himself consistent with the passport to his relatives and friends in Singapore. Then relatives and friends in Singapore will take a copy of the applicant's passport to the Singapore Immigration Bureau to fulfill the relevant guarantee procedures. (1) Indicate the nationality, name, address, relationship and entry reason of the applicant, and the Immigration Bureau will issue an application form to be filled out by relatives in Singapore;

(2) two photos of the applicant and a copy of the passport;

(3) Singapore relatives generally need to pay S $5,000 as a guarantee when performing the guarantee procedures;

(4) Submit the scheduled departure guarantee issued by the applicant;

(5) If the formalities are complete, the Immigration Bureau can make a decision within 1 month. If the access is passed, issue 1 access approval;

(6) The guarantor holds the entry approval, and then goes to the issuing department to apply for an entry visa. A separate page of the visa should be bound in the passport for use;

(7) Entry visas are usually valid for three or six months.

The second type: the applicant applies directly to the Singapore Embassy in China.

(1) Fill in the visa application form in duplicate (1);

(2) In other related matters, the visa application form warns the applicant that he must abide by laws and regulations after entering the country and shall not engage in any unauthorized occupation. If there are illegal acts, the entry visa will be cancelled and the exit will be restricted within 24 hours;

(3) The embassy will submit the materials to the domestic immigration bureau for review, and then the immigration bureau will ask the guarantor to show the guarantee certificate;

(4) If the Immigration Bureau agrees to enter the country, it will notify the embassy to issue a visa. The Singapore Embassy in China must receive the domestic entry approval number before issuing visas.

Entry-exit inspection entrance:

The Singapore government has special requirements for the code of moral conduct, and hippies and people wearing strange clothes will be banned from entering the country.

Every entrant can carry:

200 cigarettes, 1 bottle of wine. Foreign publications are subject to censorship, and publications that criticize the government or endanger social customs are prohibited from entering the country.

There is no limit to the amount of foreign currency that passengers can bring into the country, but they must apply in advance, otherwise they can only take away foreign currency worth S $2,000 when they leave the country.

Exit: There is no restriction on taking foreign currency out of the country.
