What's the comparison between iesol exam and pet?

Iesol is a combination of the international iesol and the international oral IESOL exam of a city and industry association, which proves students' communicative competence in writing, reading, listening and speaking. PET (Elementary English Test PET) is one of the "Cambridge English Language Assessment" designed by Cambridge University.

2. Different organizers

The organizers of iesol are the International iesol and the International Spoken IESOL of the City and Industry Association, while the PET exam is set by the Foreign Language Examination Department of Cambridge University.

3. The qualifications obtained are different.

The purpose of participating in IESOL is to obtain a language certificate recognized by the British Immigration Bureau, while the PET test is to examine the English ability of candidates with different English levels.

PET grade standard:

The papers will be judged by experienced examiners in ESOL Examination Department of Cambridge University. Test scores are divided into four grades: excellent passing, passing and barely failing.

The test score is the sum of the three parts of the test paper. Each candidate will receive a test score report six weeks after the end of the test, which not only provides the total score of the test, but also shows that the candidate's score in a certain part of the test paper is very high or low. Candidates who pass the exam will get the certificate issued by ESOL Examination Center of Cambridge University Examination Committee within 3 months after the exam.
