Compared with contemporary literati, Zhang Zhihan's works are not as bold and tragic as Lu You and Xin Qiji, nor have they the historical responsibility as Guan Hanqing and Yuan Haowen. As an intellectual of Han nationality who lived in the land of Jin State and worked for Mongolian court in Yuan Dynasty, the concept of state was vague and embarrassing to him. I can't guess his inner hesitation and pain. Social disorder and people's suffering during regime change are inevitable and extremely sensitive. He must put his complaints and dissatisfaction in his heart, put politics first, control his mouth and pen, and at most dilute his anger with alcohol into parting sadness and not complaining, and record it with poetry. This also doomed him to be a "great poet". Under such a political background, "returning to Dan" may be the only way for him to pin his thoughts on home and country.

Who will take care of the pine and cypress first? Miss the east wind, the cups and plates are bleak, and the hungry birds sing trees. When you do Songjiang, you change your wine and get drunk. Why did Wan Li come to the South? Why did Du Yusheng complain? Leave no stone unturned, it is better to go.
The most precious cultural relic in the memorial hall is Zhang Zhihan's tombstone, which is engraved with the seal script of "Tombstone of the Old Magistrate". An insider told me: "Zhang Zhihan's former residence in Liucun has long since disappeared, and Zhang Zhihan's cemetery in the neighboring village has long since become farmland. The two villages were originally a village, and this broken tombstone was secretly transported at night. "
