How to apply for a working holiday visa in Australia? What is the specific operation?

The working holiday visa will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for participants in China, providing 5,000 places for China applicants every year.

All applicants for work and holiday visas (Category 462) must make an appointment to submit their visa applications through the online reservation system, and then go to the Australian Visa Application Center (AVAC) in China to submit their visa application materials in person. You must make an appointment to submit your application in advance. When submitting an application, the applicant must show his passport.

Please refer to the following list to ensure that a complete visa application is submitted. In the process of visa processing, although the applicant may be required to provide supplementary materials, the visa officer may only make a decision based on the information and materials provided by the applicant when submitting the application.

From July 20 15, the basic application fee for a working holiday visa (category 462) is 440 Australian dollars/2 1 80 RMB.

Payment method:

First of all, you need to make an appointment to submit an application at an Australian visa application center in Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou through the online reservation system. After the appointment is successful, you need to go to the designated Australian visa application center in person to submit a work and holiday visa application (category 462).

Personal materials

Two copies of the first page of the latest passport. One of them is a color copy.

If the applicant is visiting Australia for the first time, it is also necessary to provide the back of the passport (if it is a signature page) and color copies of all passport pages with visa labels, entry and exit stamps or signatures on them.

Color copy of the applicant's household registration certificate.

Color copies of identity cards and notarial certificates.

Please attach two passport photos to the first page of the application form.

Passport photos should show the front of the head and shoulders with a light background.

Please write your name on the back of the photo.

If the applicant has changed his name, relevant certificates shall be provided.

For example: Notarial Certificate of Renaming.

If the applicant has served in the military of any country, the applicant should provide: military service record or retirement certificate.

Financial materials (bank deposit certificate or asset certificate)

Please provide relevant materials to prove that the applicant has sufficient financial support (at least 5,000 Australian dollars) during his/her stay in Australia 12 months.

Relevant certification materials may include:

A copy of the bank passbook certifying the applicant's deposit history and/or salary income.

Copy of the applicant's recent bank account transaction details or payroll

Other supporting materials related to funds and property.

Provide proof that you have a travel ticket to leave Australia or have enough funds to buy a round-trip ticket.

Note: the above capital certificate does not include this capital certificate (that is, the property certificate needs to be accompanied by a round-trip air ticket).

Academic materials (notarized by notary office)

Provide proof of university graduation or completion of at least two years of university courses. Relevant certification materials may include:

University diploma notarial certificate

Notarial certificate of university transcripts

English level (only need to meet one of them)

Applicants should have at least a basic level of applied English. The prescribed English examination system or the corresponding English proficiency requirements are as follows:

The average score of four IELTS subjects (oral English, reading, listening and writing) should be above 4.5. Applicants must take the exam and get qualified results within 12 months before the visa application is submitted.

Note: both academic (class a) and training (class g) are acceptable.

The total score of four subjects (oral English, reading, listening and writing) in TOEFL Online Test (iBT) should be above 32. Applicants must take the exam and get qualified results within 12 months before the visa application is submitted.

The total score of four subjects (oral English, reading, listening and writing) in PTE academic English test should be above 30. Applicants must take the exam and get qualified results within 12 months before the visa application is submitted.

The total score of four subjects (oral English, reading, listening and writing) in Cambridge English Test should be above 147. Applicants must take the exam and get qualified results within 12 months before the visa application is submitted.

Complete primary school courses and at least 3 years of secondary school courses in schools with pure English teaching.

Complete at least 5 years of secondary school study in a pure English school.

Complete at least two years of full-time university courses in schools with pure English teaching.

Schools that teach English in Australia have completed at least 1 year full-time university courses.
