Brief introduction of edward tylor

Edward tylor (2003 10+September 9, 2005, 65438+65438 in Hungary) is an American theoretical physicist born in Hungary, who is known as the "father of hydrogen bombs", but he himself doesn't care about this title. Apart from the hydrogen bomb, he has made considerable contributions to many fields of physics. Taylor immigrated to the United States in the 1930' s, became an early member of the Manhattan Project and participated in the development of the first atomic bomb. During this period, he was also keen to promote the research and development of the earliest nuclear fusion weapons, but these ideas were not realized until after the end of World War II. Taylor became unpopular in the scientific community after giving some controversial testimony to his former colleagues at Robert Oppenheimer's background investigation hearing in Los Alamos. He continued to seek help from the US government and military research institutions. He is one of the founders of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and has been the director and assistant director of the laboratory for many years. Taylor published some controversial technical solutions in his later years to solve some military and public problems, including plans to dig a port in Alaska by thermonuclear explosion. He is an enthusiastic supporter of Ronald Reagan's strategic defense plan. Taylor's life is famous for his scientific talent, poor interpersonal relationship and fickle personality. In addition, it is also considered as one of the inspiration sources of 1964 film Dr. Strange Love.
