According to the website of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Public Security of China, China citizens need to apply for travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao and visit relatives in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Administration of China Citizens Traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao for Private Affairs.

People who can apply for visiting relatives endorsement and purpose: to visit relatives who have settled, studied or worked in Hong Kong or Macao. "Relatives" refer to spouses, parents or parents, children, brothers and sisters of spouses. The applicant's spouse and children can apply together.

Materials required:

Submit the Application Form for Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and attach the applicant's recent bareheaded color photo (48×33mm). If you apply again, you must also submit a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao (the re-application here refers to the application of the person who already holds the pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao);

Submit the original residence booklet and ID card, and submit a copy;

Submit the original certificate that can confirm the kinship, submit a copy, and a copy of the Hong Kong or Macao resident ID card of the visited relative or the certificate of employment and schooling in Hong Kong or Macao. /kloc-If you apply to visit the same relative in Hong Kong or Macao again within 0/year, you are exempt from the proof of kinship.

Precautions:

The first application must be handled in person, but if the applicant is under the age of 16 or over the age of 60, the client can handle it on his behalf; In the same acceptance department, if you apply for visiting relatives again with the same travel permit to Hong Kong and Macao, you can apply on your behalf.

The cost of handling the Hong Kong and Macao Pass is 100 yuan, plus one round trip to 20 yuan and multiple round trips 100 yuan. The passport and endorsement for the first application to Hong Kong and Macao will be issued within 15 working days, and the endorsement for the second application will be issued within 10 working days.

Applicants need to go to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where their permanent residence is located.
