Work regulations during the study period

During the school holidays, the student work regulations stipulate that qualified students can engage in full-time jobs during the school holidays, as follows:

1. If your course lasts for one academic year and you can get more than 120 credits, you are eligible to work full-time in all school holidays.

2. If your course lasts for one academic year, but you can earn less than 120, you are eligible to work full-time during the Christmas and New Year school holidays.

At the same time, it should be noted that while studying in New Zealand, it is good to do part-time jobs in your spare time, but you must also be clear about what foreign students can't do:

1. You can only work as an employee, and signing a labor agreement with the employer can be guaranteed;

2. Can't engage in self-operated business;

3. Can't be an independent contractor.

How to find a satisfactory part-time job in New Zealand?
