Where is Quyuan Village located?

Qu Yuan Village,

was relocated by immigrants from villages in the north of the town in 1961 and named in memory of the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan. It borders Dihu Village and Huangxing Village to the east, Miluo River to the north, across the river from Zhoujialong Village, Lanhu Village to the west, and Quyuan Farm Sixth Branch to the south. It has jurisdiction over 26 villager groups, 469 households, and 1,586 people. The total cultivated land area is 1,745 acres, including 1,335 acres of paddy fields and 410 acres of dry land. The original Taogongcha, Yangjiagang and other places were within the territory.

Quyuan Village is adjacent to Quzici Village, Shuangchu Village, Xinyi Village, Yujiashi Village, Fanjiayuan Village, Huishan Village, Yongqing Village, Fulin Village, Jinshan Village and Xincha Village.

Near Quyuan Village are tourist attractions such as the Miluo Mountain Tombs (Qu Yuan Tomb), Ren Bishi Memorial Hall, Ren Bishi’s former residence, Miluo Pude Temple, and Yuchi Mountain Scenic Area. There are Changle sweet wine, Yueyang orchid radish, Longzhou Maojian, Sanjiang chestnut, Quyuan pure wine and other specialties.
