Guazhou County, formerly known as Anxi County. In August 2006, it was renamed with the approval of the State Council. Located at the western end of Hexi Corridor, it is the main road of Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai and Mongolia. The name of Anxi began in the reign of Kangxi.
