Are xiong'an new area and Xiongxian the same place?

Xiongxian County, also known as Xiongzhou, was called "Waqiao Pass" in ancient times, which was one of the "Three Passes" guarded by Yang Liulang, a famous Song Dynasty, with a total area of 677.55 square meters, belonging to Baoding City, Hebei Province and entrusted by xiong'an new area.

Xiong'an new area is a state-level new district under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, located in the middle of Hebei Province, in the hinterland of Beijing, Tianjin and Baoding, with an area of about 2,000 square kilometers.
