There are two main bus hubs in Port Louis. "Victoria Hub Station" is responsible for buses from Port Louis to and from eastern and southern mauritius island, and buses from William Plain to Port Louis; "Immigrant Square Station", also known as "North Station", is responsible for buses in Pompom and Lampa River areas in the north.

The yard area of the port area is about 60,000 square meters, and the sugar bin capacity is 350,000 tons. Loading and unloading efficiency: 500 tons of cement, 700 tons of gasoline, 200 tons of bulk wheat and 0/400 tons of bulk sugar per hour. The maximum reliable ship of the wharf is 40,000 dwt. The anchor depth of the ship is 37m, the container throughput is 80,000 TEU, and the annual cargo throughput is 5 million tons. The main export commodities are sugar, tea, wine, fiber, syrup, ginger and so on. The main imported commodities are coal, iron, cotton, grain and ceramics. More than 90% of the goods in China are transshipped through Hong Kong. During holidays, you can work overtime when necessary.

Port Louis is an important submarine optical cable station in the South Indian Ocean and an important berth for international shipping. Most of China's import and export materials pass through here, and the docks and berths of the port can be used for ocean-going ships to berth. There are huge warehouses and freight yards in the port, as well as docks and floating docks for repairing ships. It is one of the modern large ports in the world.
