How to check evus status?

EVUS (Electronic Visa Update System) is a system that Chinese travelers holding 10-year B1/B2 visas (visitors, short-term business) must fill out and update before entering the United States.

If you need to check the EVUS status, you can follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official website of "https://evus.gov/evus/".

2. In the middle of the web page, find the "Check Status" or "Check Existing Submission" button. Click this button.

3. On the next page, enter the same passport number and EVUS application number as the information previously submitted, making sure that the entered information is accurate.

4. Click the "Continue" button.

5. If there are no security issues involved, the system will display your EVUS status.

It is worth noting that as long as your EVUS is in the "Approved" status, Chinese citizens holding valid visas can apply to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection ( CBP) displays its EVUS status for received approved EVUS updates.
