What do you think of the development prospect of Shenzhen?

Very optimistic about the economic development prospects of Shenzhen.

Guo Shiping, invited researcher of National Development and Reform Commission, economic adviser of Shenzhen Municipal Government and director of Institute of Contemporary Finance of Shenzhen University School of Economics:

Guo Shiping said that in the past 30 years, the "first bucket of gold" for Shenzhen's sustained and rapid economic development came from preferential policies, so institutional innovation was the first and most important reason for Shenzhen's development.

He thinks the second reason is geography. Shenzhen is close to Hong Kong, an international financial center and trade center city, which has well introduced and absorbed Hong Kong's advanced productive forces. We can see that among the special economic zones with the same preferential policies of the central government, why Zhuhai and Xiamen develop slowly has a lot to do with their location advantages.

"The third reason is that Shenzhen has always pursued the fastest industrial policy of upgrading and transformation." Guo Shiping said that in the 1990s, Shenzhen was well aware of the importance of high-tech industries to Shenzhen's economic development. At that time, some people suspected that farmers in Shenzhen were engaged in high technology, and there were no high-tech docks like universities. At that time, I pointed out in my research report to the Ministry of Science and Technology that among Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai, Shenzhen's high-tech development speed was far ahead of Beijing and Shanghai.

Guo Shiping said that the fourth reason for the rapid development of Shenzhen is that Shenzhen is an immigrant society, where various cultures blend, advanced culture is passed down, and bad culture is eliminated, and the best immigrant culture in China can land here.

The "negative growth" of Shenzhen economy is a short-lived phenomenon.

Shenzhen's economy is highly dependent on foreign countries. Once the external economic environment has growth concerns, the economic growth rate will be affected first. Guo Shiping said that Shenzhen is a typical export-oriented city, and its economic development is more dependent on exports. The previous development situation was that Europe was poor and the United States was good; Or America is poor and Europe is poor. However, since the beginning of this year, the economic conditions of the United States and Europe are relatively poor, so the export environment of Shenzhen is also relatively poor.

But he believes that "negative growth" will be a short-term phenomenon. At present, Shenzhen continues to carry out industrial upgrading and economic transformation, which is still very promising for Shenzhen's economic development prospects. Guo Shiping said that Shenzhen has been planning to accelerate the development of three strategic emerging industries, namely Internet, biomedicine and new energy, so as to realize another transformation of Shenzhen's industrial strategy. For Shenzhen's industries, we should start from external export to internal demand, and also pay attention to the pull of internal demand in economic transformation. However, because there are many high-tech industries in Shenzhen, the added value is also relatively large.

In addition, Guo Shiping told reporters that although some economic indicators in Shenzhen have experienced negative growth this year, there are also some economic highlights worthy of attention. For example, the investment in fixed assets in Shenzhen was18.567 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%. Among them, the investment in real estate development projects was 7.063 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.6%; Non-real estate development projects1150.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 0.2%; The total retail sales of social consumer goods in Shenzhen was 64.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 65.438+065.438+0.5%; The foreign direct investment in Shenzhen was US$ 546,543.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 46.4%. Guo Shiping said that this part of Shenzhen's economic data is very eye-catching, especially the double-digit growth of the total retail sales of social consumer goods, indicating that Shenzhen's domestic demand is on the rise.

Shenzhen must "continue to maintain innovative development ideas"

Shenzhen's economic development should maintain rapid and healthy economic development in the future. Guo Shiping believes that the first thing is to continue to maintain the concept of innovation and development. He said that he has always proposed that Shenzhen should build four centers. The first center is a science and technology center, the second is a logistics center, the third is a regional financial center, and the fourth is a cultural industry center. In this sense, Shenzhen must maintain innovation and development.

Guo Shiping said that at the same time, Shenzhen's industries should continue to transform and upgrade. The shortage of land resources in Shenzhen is the biggest problem of development, and the central government has never given Shenzhen land. Therefore, Shenzhen can vigorously develop the "building economy". He pointed out that Shenzhen can develop important resources at high altitude. A building like Tencent is expected to generate more than 6 billion yuan in tax revenue every year, and it is expected to generate more than 8 billion yuan in tax revenue after the completion of Jingji 100. "Shenzhen can build 100 buildings in the future, and each building will realize tax revenue of 100 billion yuan." Guo Shiping said that in this case, the tax of a building in Shenzhen can offset the tax of a city, so Shenzhen must take the road of "building economy".
