Feng Gong Temple in Tongan, Wang Zun, Jin Fu

Yesterday, cultural protection experts discovered the lacquer line carving of protecting the country and respecting the king in A Qing's period in Ganling Village, Xinmin Town, Tongan. The statue is made of all wood, solid and heavy, with a width of 0.36 meters and a height of 0.65 meters. The statue sits on his knees, his face is dark and strange, his eyes are wide, his beard is elegant, his palm rests on his knees, and his right hand holds a sword. It wears an armored shirt and is decorated with lacquer line carvings in different colors such as gold, red, green and black. The sculpture is amazing, the craft is fine, and the sculpture is basically well preserved. During the Cultural Revolution, a 40-year-old female villager in the village (now over 80 years old) hid the statue in a bag, disguised as carrying a child and secretly took it out and hid it at home, making it well preserved so far.

In addition, this statue also witnessed the historical origin of Fujian and Taiwan. According to the research of experts and scholars on both sides of Fujian and Taiwan, "protecting the country and respecting the king" was a famous soldier Zhang Xun who defended Suiyang for a year in the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty and died after the city was broken. After the Five Dynasties, his beliefs were introduced into southern Fujian with the migration of immigrants from the Central Plains. Therefore, in southern Fujian, the belief of "protecting the country and respecting the king" is spread all over the surname family. In the Qing Dynasty, descendants of Shao in Ganling moved to Taiwan Province Province and Taibei in large numbers, which also brought incense to protect the country and respect the king (Zhang Xun). Therefore, Taiwan Province compatriots come to worship every year.

Two large stone tombs in Ming Dynasty

In addition, two large stone tombs of the Ming Dynasty discovered by cultural protection experts in Xinmin Town, Tong 'an, which are shaped like "wind"-shaped round-backed chairs, are grand in scale, unique in shape, exquisite in craftsmanship and basically well preserved, and are outstanding representatives of large Ming tombs in Xiamen more than 400 years ago.

One is located in Caizhai Village, Xinmin Town, covering an area of more than 200 square meters. The tomb platform is mainly made of granite and concrete, and the tomb is in the shape of a three-level pagoda, which is particularly rare. In front of the table, Sumitomo embossed double lion balls, turtles and cranes welcoming the New Year, auspicious deer titles and so on. , are very fine, very vivid. The three-level tombs on both sides of the tomb wall are decorated with double roofs, faucets and squatting lions. Cultural protection experts said that this tomb was buried by Zhuo and his wife in the Ming Dynasty. According to the genealogy of Cai Zhai Zhuo in the year of Qianlong and Guihai, the tomb owner Zheng Zhuo was born in the fourth year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1473) and died in Wujiannian, Jiajing (1534). He built the Zhuoshi Ancestral Hall of Cai Zhai, the seventh ancestor of Zhuoshi of Cai Zhai.

The other is located in Gaopu Natural Village, Houban Village, Xinmin Town, covering an area of more than 600 square meters. Grave buildings are mainly granite, especially giant granite tombs which are several meters long and weigh thousands of pounds. According to textual research, this tomb is the tomb of Zhou and his wives and concubines in Ming Dynasty and the ancestral grave of Hepu Zhou in Houban. After the Ming Dynasty, Zhou's descendants moved to Yunlin County and other places in Taiwan. Today, there are thousands of people in Taiwan Province, and every year, villagers from Taiwan Province Province return home to pay homage to their ancestors.
