Expiration of visa

If the visa expires, you must pay the fine for overstaying and be sent back to China. The fine is 500 baht per day, with an upper limit of 20,000 baht. You can pay the fine directly at the airport immigration office. If you refuse to pay the fine, you will be prosecuted by the Immigration Bureau and detained in the immigration detention center before the court decides.
