Most other notarial documents are time-limited. For example, a marriage certificate notarized in China is generally valid for 6 months. Because it takes time for applicants to go through formalities in China, the Spanish government has relaxed the time limit to one year. Some people don't understand and ask, "We have been married for a long time. What will happen? " Well, the relationship between husband and wife is not as permanent as that between mother, father and son. Marriage can be dissolved and will change. Therefore, the Spanish police will ask people who apply for family reunion or change of family residence to apply for a notarial certificate or marriage certificate again.

If the applicant is married in the Spanish Civil Affairs Bureau, the validity of the certificate is only three months at most. If you are married in Spain and are not registered in the embassy or consulate, the proof of husband-wife relationship that needs to be produced when you change your residence must be issued in advance at the local civil registration office of the original registration place; If your spouse is Spanish, you need to make such proof and preparation in advance when you change EU family members. In particular, family members of Spanish citizens who are not citizens of origin, that is, those who will be naturalized in the future, will take longer to process because their marriage files are filed in the central registry, which is in Madrid.

Health notarization, which proves the health status of the parties in a period of time. Applicants for family reunion and work residence should not apply for health notarization too early.

The same is true of the certificate of no criminal record, which is valid for only 6 months. The calculation date is based on the notarization date, not counting from the certification date.
