Is Africa really poor?

Not all of them. Africa is divided into North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, referred to as Black Africa.

The development of 55 countries in Africa is very uneven. North Africa is dominated by Arabs, and relatively rich in black Africa, perhaps worse than big cities in China, but still comparable to some second-and third-tier cities. Some countries, such as Tunisia, are even as rich as Europe. At least nine people's per capita GDP exceeds that of China, such as Libya before the war, and the per capita GDP is twice that of China;

Most parts of Black Africa are relatively backward, and the level of development is the same as that of China in the early 1990s. Moreover, its construction lacks overall planning and its infrastructure is outdated and backward. It is basically a facility that continued the European colonial period. Because there are no modern factories and manufacturing industries, most commodities need to be imported, and the prices of commodities are generally too high, which is also the reason why many people sell commodities from China and return to China. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that Africans generally value business, and few people engage in industry and are keen on buying and selling.

There are also very poor people, such as Congo, Sudan, Rwanda and Ethiopia, who of course starve to death.

The causes of poverty in Africa are:

1. Africa has the largest desert Sahara desert in the world, accounting for 1/4 of Africa's area. Moreover, the land in Africa is barren, and most of it is not suitable for farming. Therefore, the life, education and medical care of Africans have not been improved since ancient times, and advanced civilization has not been formed.

2. Both ancient and modern Africa held a conservative attitude towards European aggression. Europe is the first place in the world to realize industrialization and has a strong military force, so it went to Europe to plunder cheap labor as slaves, which made Africa, which was already poor, worse.
