Notes on "future roar"

This is the third book read on 20021,which mainly describes the development of science and technology in the next decade and the changes it brings to our lives.

Flying cars and super high-speed rail will change our travel, shorten the distance between cities and profoundly change our future life. High-speed rail has really changed my perception of distance in recent years. It used to take two and a half hours or even three hours to get from Wuhu to Hefei, but now it only takes 45 minutes. Coupled with the connection of Hefei Metro 1, 2 and 3 lines, it takes only one hour to take the exam in Hefei school, while it takes three and a half hours to take the 20 19 bus. In the future, a maglev high-speed railway will be built from Hefei to Wuhu, with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour, and it takes only 20 minutes from Hefei to Wuhu. Now Wuhu takes half an hour to Nanjing, one and a half hours to Hangzhou and three hours to Shanghai. For me living in the third-and fourth-tier cities, it is getting closer and closer to the first-tier cities, and it is more and more convenient to do things. In the future, if flying cars and driverless cars appear, it will have a great impact on relieving urban traffic pressure, reducing traffic safety and facilitating travel.

Quantum computers, artificial intelligence, networks, 5G, balloons and satellites, sensors, robots, virtual reality and augmented reality, 3D printing, blockchain, materials science and nanotechnology, biotechnology and other technologies have developed rapidly, and the integration of these exponential technologies has brought seven major accelerations.

1, saving more time; 2. More funds are available; 3. More non-monetization; 4. More geniuses; 5. Rich communication; 6. Brand-new business model (crowdsourcing economy, free/data economy, intelligent economy, closed-loop economy, decentralized autonomous organization, multi-world model, transitional economy); 7. Longer life span.

Retail, advertising, entertainment, education, health care, longevity, commerce and food will all be reshaped.

Water crisis, climate change and energy crisis, biodiversity crisis, economic risk (threat of technical unemployment) and survival risk (global catastrophic risk) are the five major risks that need to be solved urgently in the future.

There will be five major migrations in the future world, namely: climate migration, urban migration, migration to virtual world, spatial migration and meta-intelligence: entering the Borg world.

What should I do in the face of a rapidly changing future? First, keep pace with the times and learn new knowledge. For example, I recently started to learn PPT production, WPS and new professional knowledge, which have kept me up to date, at least in my major. Through studying, I enhanced my interest in learning new knowledge and provided a foundation for learning other knowledge in the future.

Secondly, increase reading, read all kinds of books, and increase knowledge and cognition through reading. Convert input into output by writing and recording. Only when you understand it in your heart can you take the road ahead.

Third, pay attention to health. In the future, human life will be extended a lot. Now, only by maintaining good physical fitness can we go further. By taking 10000 steps every day, you can keep your daily exercise and keep your head clear through meditation. After spring blossoms, we should also learn to run in a planned way, fall in love with running, and further improve our physical fitness.

Only those who are ready have a better future. Through lifelong learning, they will constantly improve themselves. In the future, they hope that they will get better and better.
