Can I get an American visa in Kunming?

If you are in Kunming, you need to apply for a visa at the American Consulate in Chongqing.

Need to make an appointment.

Interview after appointment. You can get a visa about 5 working days after the interview.

The required materials are roughly as follows:

1. Original passport (valid for more than 9 months, signed on the last page)

2. Copy of the first page of passport, copy of other visa pages and copy of signature pages.

3.50 x 50 MM 4 bareheaded color photos with white background, 1 business card.

4. The original and photocopy of the ID card, and the original and photocopy of the household registration book of the whole family.

5. Copy of China business license with official seal.

6. Original Chinese dispatch letter.

7. Original invitation letter sent by the inviting company.

8. Proof of the applicant's assets (original and photocopy of time and current passbook, and original and photocopy of bank deposit certificate, real estate license and driving license can be provided as supplementary information).

9. The original and photocopy of the applicant's work permit.
