How many days should the reply period of letters and visits be according to the regulations?

The answer is usually within 60 days. The Regulations on Letters and Visits clearly stipulates that state organs shall make written opinions on letters and visits within 60 days from the date of acceptance. If the situation is complicated, the processing period may be appropriately extended with the approval of the person in charge of this organ, but the extension period shall not exceed 30 days.

If the complainant refuses to accept the handling opinions, he may apply for review within 30 days from the date of receiving the handling opinions.
