Children apply for parents to settle in Hong Kong and Macao.

Application material

Mainland residents applying to settle in Hong Kong and Macao must apply to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ at or above the county level where their household registration is located, accept interviews and inquiries, and perform the following procedures:

1. Submit the Application Form for Mainland Residents to Settle in Hong Kong or Macao (hereinafter referred to as the "Application Form"), which is completely filled in and affixed with recent bareheaded color photos (48×33mm) of the applicant and relatives of Hong Kong or Macao to be cared for.

2. I must write a statement and print it on A4 paper, including:

⑴ Personal information: my name, identity, ID number, registered address, current address, household registration, work, resume, criminal record, application for settlement in other provinces and cities, contact information and other basic information.

⑵ Family members: basic information of immediate family members, basic information, address and contact information of major social contacts.

⑶ Marriage history: basic information such as parents' address, work and contact information in Hong Kong and Macao, parents' marriage history and children born in and out of wedlock, including those related to Hong Kong and Macao, whether they are married for the first time, whether they are divorced or widowed, whether they have children born in and out of wedlock, and their ownership and upbringing.

3. Submit the applicant's household registration book, resident ID card, birth medical certificate and other proof of parent-child relationship, the original marriage certificate of Hong Kong or Macao parents and a copy, the resident ID card of Hong Kong or Macao parents, a copy of Hong Kong or Macao residents' travel permit to and from the Mainland, and a copy of Hong Kong or Macao permanent resident ID card and foreign passport if the parents are foreign and have no proof of Hong Kong or Macao children.

4. If the applicant is born out of wedlock or the parent-child relationship is in doubt, the parent-child relationship shall be identified in the hospital or institution designated by the exit-entry administration department of the provincial public security organ.

5. The applicant's work unit or the local police station where the household registration is located shall sign and seal the applicant's application form, and the national staff, personnel of state-controlled enterprises and institutions and their subordinate work units or superior competent units shall examine and approve according to the personnel management authority, and the party member-related party organizations in party member shall issue opinions, and other personnel shall issue opinions by the local police station where the household registration is located.

6. Submit the certificate corresponding to the application.

7. Other documents that the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ deems necessary.
