first step

Second step

If the main applicant's I- 130 is submitted in China, the immigration application will be sent directly to the Guangzhou Consulate instead of to NVC. ? After receiving the documents, Guangzhou Consulate will send the explanatory package to the beneficiary of the main applicant.
Third step
After receiving the file, Guangzhou Consulate will first review the file to ensure that the applicant's information is complete. If the materials are missing, the Guangzhou Consulate will send an explanatory package to the beneficiary. After confirming that the materials are complete, the Guangzhou Consulate will arrange an interview for the applicant. The treatment time is about 2-4 months.
Fourth step
After determining the interview date, the consulate will send an appointment package (also known as package No.4) to the applicant, explaining how to prepare the interview materials. Applicants need to go to the designated hospital (PDF) for physical examination before the interview.
