What are the Arab countries?

"Arab countries" generally refers to countries with the Arab nation as the main body. They use the same language-Arabic, have the same culture and customs, and most people believe in Islam. Although not dominated by the Arab nation, some countries have long established close political, economic, cultural and religious ties with Arab countries and joined the League of Arab States, so they are also called Arab countries. At present, there are 23 Arab countries and regions, most of which are located in the Middle East. They are: United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen), Yemen People's Democratic Republic (South Yemen), Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Lebanon. The scope of "Arab countries" partially overlaps with "Middle East", but there are also differences. Not all Middle Eastern countries are Arab countries, such as Turkey, Cyprus and Iran.
