When did it happen? Who are the main people traveling to Guangdong?

The earliest trip to Kanto can be traced back to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Historically, the people of Shandong, especially the people of Jiaodong Peninsula, became the main force of the trip to Kanto.

"Guan" refers to Shanhaiguan. The word "Kanto" didn't come into being until the general Xu Da built Shanhaiguan in the early Ming Dynasty. South of Shanhaiguan is inside Shanhaiguan or inside Shanhaiguan, and northeast of Shanhaiguan is outside Shanhaiguan and Kanto. Shanhaiguan in the Ming Dynasty is the barrier between the Ming Dynasty and the later Jin and Qing Dynasties, and it is also the frontier fortress of the Ming Dynasty, which is called "the first pass in the world".

Going east generally refers to the migration and immigration of Han people from the mainland to the northeast to make a living under the pressure of survival. According to historical records, the earliest immigrant to the Northeast was Ji Zi in Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Ji Zi is Shang Zhouwang's uncle. After King Wu was destroyed, Ji Zi led the director to cross the sea to the Korean Peninsula via Shandong Peninsula, established the Korean State, made its capital in Pyongyang, and spread China's farming culture to the Korean Peninsula. Before the middle of the 20th century, the Ji Zi Temple was built on the Korean peninsula.

At the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, the Ming army crossed the Bohai Sea from Penglai, Shandong Province and seized the land in Liaodong. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Liaodong was appointed as the commander-in-chief, which was subordinate to Xuancheng, Shandong. In the Ming Dynasty, a large number of Shandong people, especially those from Jiaodong Peninsula, entered Liaodong Peninsula one after another through military reclamation or spontaneous migration, becoming the pioneers of the journey to the east.

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the late Jin Dynasty rose. In the war with the Ming Dynasty, millions of Han people in Guanzhong were captured as slaves of the Jurchen nationality and the Eight Banners of the Han nationality were established. After the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, Liaoyang Prefecture was established, and the emperor shunzhi promulgated the Regulations on Reclamation, encouraging Han people to reclaim land in the northeast, and a large number of Shandong Han people came to Liaodong by sea and land. During the years of Kang Yong and Gandao, the rulers were afraid that the Han people would shake the rule of Manchu, and banned the Han people from entering the customs on the pretext that Liaodong was a "land of Longxing".

Because kanto region is vast and sparsely populated, large areas of land have been eroded by Russia. During the Xianfeng period, the Qing court once again allowed Han Chinese to reclaim land, and Shandong people once again became the main force of the Eastern Expedition. During Guangxu period, due to the construction of Lushunkou fortress and Sino-Russian Dong Qing Railway, young and middle-aged laborers were recruited from Shandong many times.

Now many people in Northeast China are from Shandong for three generations. There are many similarities in language and culture between Shandong and Northeast China, such as the legend of jiaozi and "Old Li with Black Tail". Generations of Shandong people have thrived in the black land of Northeast China, blended with Manchu, Oroqen and other ethnic minorities, and jointly created the splendid civilization of the Chinese nation.
