The ethnic composition of citizens can be changed, but it needs to comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Please read the following legal provisions carefully. Those who meet the statutory conditions for changing the ethnic composition may apply to the public security organ where the household registration is located for change.

According to the "Regulations on Determining the Ethnic Composition of China Citizens"

Second, the ethnic composition of an individual can only be determined according to the ethnic composition of his father or mother.

3. For children born by citizens of different nationalities who are married or adopt children of other nationalities (the adoption relationship is notarized by the notary department), the ethnic composition shall be agreed by parents or adoptive parents before they reach the age of 18, and it shall be decided by themselves if they reach the age of 18, and the ethnic composition shall not be changed if they reach the age of 20.

4. When citizens of different nationalities remarry, if their original children are babies, their ethnic composition shall be agreed by their mother and stepfather or father and stepmother before 18 years old; If the original children of both parties have reached the age of 18, the original ethnic composition will not be changed.

Five, the adoption relationship and marriage relationship between adults of different nationalities do not change their ethnic composition.

Six, the original has been identified as ethnic minorities, shall not be arbitrarily changed to other ethnic groups.
