Article 3 People’s governments at or above the county level shall establish and improve mechanisms to provide basic public services and conveniences to residence permit holders. Village (resident) committees, employers, schools and house lessors should assist in the temporary residence registration.

Article 6 The public security organs and relevant departments, organizations, units and their staff shall keep confidential the identity information of the floating population that is known during the management of floating population services.

No department, organization, unit or individual may inquire or use the identity information of migrant population in violation of laws and regulations.

Chapter 2 Temporary Residence Registration

Chapter 3 Application for Residence Permit

Chapter 5 Residence Permit Management
