Huangyanghe Leisure Agricultural Tourism Zone is a project of Gansu Huangyanghe Agricultural Industry and Commerce (Group) Co., Ltd. relying on the "National Pollution-free Agricultural Products Demonstration Base Farm", the "National Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone" and surrounding tourism resources. The tourist attractions developed and created in recent years have now been built into a central service area, a modern agriculture exhibition area, a grape corridor sightseeing area, a Huangyang River Industrial Park, a catering and entertainment area, a desert tourist area for the Great Wall ruins of the Ming and Han Dynasties, and a seasonal fruit and vegetable picking area. It has seven functional areas and was rated as a national AAA tourist attraction in 2011.
