Yueyang Tieshan Reservoir is called Qiandao Lake in Hunan Province. There are many scenic spots and historical sites and myths and legends in the reservoir, such as "the legacy of Zhenwu", "winding Longtan", "the competition between phoenix and phoenix", "the Eight Immortals on the stage" and "the homesickness of the great ancestors". In addition to the natural landscape, there are three main attractions:

First, Jinniu Park, the main attraction of Tieshan Scenic Area, has completed the feasibility demonstration and detailed planning. The planning of the park consists of fifteen scenic spots such as "Golden Bull Group Carving", "Qingyuan Pavilion", "Space Room", "Blue Cloud Pavilion" and "Forest of Steles", and entertainment items such as "water rafting and indoor swimming pool" have been added.

Zhenwu Island Scenic Area: It can be reached by a tourist boat from the dam for half an hour to the east. This is a 2-hectare island with Zhenwu Temple ruins on it.

3. Jinniu Cave Scenic Area: Located near Xiaomei, there is a cave, which is said to be the place where Taurus enters and exits.

Tieshan Reservoir is rich in fish resources and is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts. Fishing here is the biggest difference from other natural tourist attractions. Of course, there are places for swimming and entertainment, but they are indoor, which is no better than swimming pools in ordinary cities.

In addition, Tieshan Reservoir is not far from Zhangguying Village and Dayunshan National Forest Park. If you have enough time, you can also consider visiting these places.
