Things to note before traveling

1: Although Saipan belongs to the United States, it is actually thousands of miles away from the United States. Things on the island already include island fees and taxes, so it’s okay to start shopping at the airport.

2: Saipan is an island tourist attraction, so the sunshine and various radiations are extremely high, and ordinary sun protection indexes of 30 and 50 are basically useless. At least 100 or more can do it. Emphasize it! Always apply sunscreen before going out!

3. It’s best not to bring strange things in your luggage, because Saipan’s border inspection is really lengthy and confusing. There are ten windows in a row, and forty or fifty people can wait in line for five or six hours, but they are still drunk. If you have some unknown object in your luggage, he can chat with you for an hour.

4: In terms of clothing, just bring your thinnest and most comfortable clothes. Remember to bring a swimsuit. A pair of slippers, sneakers, and sandals are recommended for shoes. Girls must remember to wear a mask and reapply it after sun exposure. Basically, I wear a sun umbrella, sun hat and glasses when I go out.

5: Simple medicines can be used to treat diarrhea and allergies, followed by mosquito repellent spray. Mosquitoes are not covered!

DAY1: First arrival in Saipan

Since there are many people in our group, we are scattered in three hotels, so we girls stayed in the nearest Sunshine Garden Hotel, which was very cozy. The boss is from China and the waiters are very friendly. I was originally wondering whether to use Baidu Translate, but later I realized that most of the people on the island are Chinese, haha.

Since we were late, we agreed to meet at 10 o'clock. I wanted to cry and couldn't sleep at all. I lingered in front of the hotel for a while. When the sky is bright, the blue sky is really beautiful. I used to think that many landscape photos were photoshopped, but now I realize that you can just take a random photo of some places.

On the first day of the trip, the tour guide basically took us to get familiar with the entire island. Our tour guide, Sister Yang, is from Zhejiang. It is said that she has been in Saipan for almost ten years and can drive and explain correctly. The first place we went to was Lover Island, also called Bird Island. The sea and sky were all green, and the wind was so strong that our hats were about to be blown over. We are very happy.

The second time was the last time the Japanese army jumped off the cliff. I don’t remember exactly, but it felt so rushed. I took a photo with a selfie stick in front of a sea watchtower and immediately recorded it as a joke, haha.

After walking for a long time and eating a big pot of rice buffet at noon, the girls began to protest. For foodies, food on the trip is very important, so I decided to have American barbecue for dinner, which was $26 per person, which was slightly expensive. Fortunately, it tastes pretty good.

Eight buffets were opened at the same time, so the waiter was a little busy. The boss saw that there was a microphone in the restaurant, so he improvised the first song "Strangers" for us, which received rave reviews.

After dinner, the man started a traditional Chinese game called Landlord Fighting, which we despised. We girls asked Sister Yang to send it to the largest shopping mall on the island - I Love Saipan. Cosmetics seem to be higher than those made in China. However, there are many types of perfumes, and the girls chose some, as well as chocolates. It is said that the chocolate in Saipan tastes very good, and everyone who comes here will bring some. The price ranges from 30 to 50 yuan, so it’s not a bad idea to take two boxes back to give to friends.

English learning accumulates over time. As usual, I got up early again. The real trip to Saipan begins today. On the second day of Saipan, we will go to Managaha Island, with blue sky and sea. Here we are.

There are many recreational activities on the island, such as underwater walking, snorkeling and motor boating, with prices ranging from US$50 to US$80. If you like challenges and excitement, you can try it. Personally, I think it’s similar to the one in Sanya. Because of the hot weather, I drank several large glasses of juice. When I was sitting in the restaurant, I understood why Sister Yang said that Saipan is actually surrounded by Chinese people. Basically, as far as I can see, I basically speak Mandarin. Occasionally, some Koreans cannot help but sigh. My consumption in China does drive a lot of local economy.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, we gathered at the outlying island. We were the last group to leave. It is said that tourists must leave the island before five o'clock every day, and there will be a broadcast announcement. Everyone must pay attention to time. DAY2: A deep tour of Saipan

On the third day, I got up very early because today is also the day I am most looking forward to renting a car and going on the road. Ms. Li rented a Hornet, and the car dealer drove the car over in the morning. We have been renting for 16 years. The rent is US$120 a day and the deposit is US$100, which is returned within 24 hours. The dealer's master repeatedly told us that we could only drive 30 yards, otherwise there would be more traffic police in the grass with guns to force us to stop, which made us laugh until we cried.

Teacher Li drives by feeling. On the first day, we decided to go to Lover's Island to enjoy the beautiful scenery again.

After passing Lover's Island, walking further up, there is a winding mountain road, sparsely populated and beautiful scenery. Coincidentally, I met another wave of our friends.

Fortunately, another group of friends knew the way to the church and we happily followed. Of course, the yardage still cannot be too fast, about thirty yards of shaking speed. But I have to lament that there is not a single traffic policeman on the road, but everyone is very disciplined. When turning, the car in front stopped for nearly three minutes, and the car going straight had to finish driving before passing. When encountering a zebra crossing, we stop 50 meters in advance and wait for pedestrians to finish walking across the zebra crossing before driving. This is worth learning from China, which has a huge traffic volume.

Church

Based on my feeling, I went down the mountain, turned a few turns, and finally came to the small church I longed for. It happened to be that it didn't open the door, which was a pity. It is said that thanks to the indigenous people on the island, they come to this small church to hold the ceremony when they get married, and I feel very happy instantly. In a picture in my mind, a pair of children who grew up together passed through middle and high school, and then got married and had children and grew old together happily_

Blue Hole

The Blue Hole is a cave formed by natural climate, and it is also a very difficult diving spot, so many explorers come here. Comes with danger. The day after our friends went there, we heard that there was a team of divers missing one person. Sorry

Maybe it's the extreme happiness that makes me sad. I've also been told that I get so confident that I forget to protect myself from the sun when I go on a road trip. Before I even arrived at the hotel, I had a red rash on my arms and was very uncomfortable. Therefore, sun protection is really important!

The next day, on the way back, I put on my long johns.
