Are there any language restrictions for Brazilian immigrants?
Brazilian immigrant visas are only issued to foreign applicants who meet the special requirements set by the Brazilian National Migration Committee or the Brazilian Ministry of Labor. Basically, foreign citizens can apply for immigrant visas in Brazil in the following seven ways:
I. Immigration of the chairman, chief executive officer and senior manager of the existing company:
This kind of visa is designed for sending personnel inside the company. Therefore, the applicant must be employed by an overseas parent company, or a subsidiary or branch of the company intends to employ him/her in Brazil. However, there is no restriction on the applicant's previous employment time in a foreign company. The files required for this step include:
1. Proof that the applicant has been employed by an overseas company, or that the applicant has been employed by a subsidiary or branch of an overseas company in Brazil;
2. Documents that can prove that the special labor force introduced by Brazilian companies will bring technology, improve social productivity or social benefits to Brazil.
3. Proof that the Brazilian overseas company or its parent company has invested 200,000 US dollars in the subsidiary of the applicant in Brazil (only one applicant can apply for the investment of 200,000 US dollars, if there are two, it will be 400,000, and so on).
Second, the new company chairman, CEO, senior manager immigration:
Planned and newly-started companies can apply for visas for up to three people, mainly because the executive manager enters Brazil to develop the company's business. The application conditions for such visas are as follows:
Proof that the non-Brazilian foreign company has been operating overseas for at least 5 years;
Power of attorney given by a foreign investor (company) to its new legal representative in Brazil, authorizing him to set up a new company in Brazil;
This visa is valid for 2 years at first. The applicant company must be able to prove that it can meet the minimum investment requirements (US$ 600,000, 20*3) or provide jobs for the overseas parent company to send new overseas employees to work in the Brazilian branch two years later.
Third, investment immigrants:
Foreign citizens can obtain permanent residency in Brazil through investment, and their investment will be used to promote social productivity and absorb or train professional labor. This visa category is applicable to foreign citizens who are prepared to invest at least $50,000 in any enterprise that can promote Brazil's productivity. This visa is initially valid for five years. Before the end of the five-year validity period, the applicant must be able to prove to the Brazilian federal police that he has completed the investment plan and the plan to absorb local labor, and then his visa can be renewed.
Iv. Immigration of researchers or senior professionals:
To apply for such visas, the following conditions must be met:
Documents issued by Brazilian research institutions, which prove that the applicant is interested in the research affairs he is engaged in;
The applicant's resume, qualification certificate and relevant academic and research recommendation letters.
Verb (abbreviation for verb) Retired foreign citizen:
Foreign citizens over the age of 50 can transfer their retirement income equivalent to not less than US$ 2,000 per month to Brazil, and they and their families can apply for permanent residency in Brazil. There is no limit to how many people he can bring, but the applicant must prove that they are real relatives and are raised by them. As for the true relationship, please refer to Chapter 4 of the Immigration Law of the Brazilian Immigration Commission.
The principal applicant must prove that his monthly pension is at least $2,000. This will enable him and his two dependants to obtain permanent residence visas. If an accompanying applicant is added, his monthly income will increase by 65,438+0,000 USD/person. In addition, the applicant must also prove that:
A certificate issued by the relevant foreign institution responsible for granting the pension to the applicant and informing the applicant of all monthly benefits;
A statement allowing foreign banks to transfer at least $2,000 to Brazil every month.
The intransitive verb marries a Brazilian citizen;
This visa is decided by the resolution of the Brazilian National Migration Committee. If a foreign citizen marries a Brazilian citizen, he/she will get a permanent residence visa in Brazil. Applications can be made to the Brazilian Ministry of Justice (usually through the local federal police, who represent the Ministry of Justice at the national level) or to Brazilian embassies abroad. Marriage certificate, witness statement and other marriage certificates should be provided when applying. Immigration officials may make surprise visits to the applicant's couple's family to confirm that their marriage relationship is true, instead of using the name of marriage to defraud residence visas.
7. Foreign citizens related by blood to Brazilian citizens:
This visa is decided by the resolution of the Brazilian National Migration Committee. Traditionally, such visas are issued to foreign parents of Brazilian children. Applications can be made to the Brazilian Ministry of Justice (usually through the local federal police, who represent the Ministry of Justice at the national level) or to Brazilian embassies abroad. The Brazilian child must be financially dependent on his foreign mother or father and have a guardianship relationship with the applicant (including legal parents or guardians).
